Terms of Service

Last updated: 29 June 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Reelo website and mobile app (together, the "Service"), operated by Reelo ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Reelo is a short-form video app that lets you choose topics, browse a feed of short clips, follow channels, and save videos to watch later. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial entertainment and is intended for adults aged 18 and over.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. If you create an optional account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to:

4. Content and intellectual property

Videos and other content available through the Service are owned by their respective creators or licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. The Reelo name, app, design, and branding are owned by or licensed to us. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of any content; you receive only a limited, personal right to view content within the app.

5. Purchases

If the app offers any paid features, purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms, and any refunds are handled according to those stores' policies.

6. Third-party links and services

The Service may link to or rely on third-party sites and services we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any particular content will always be available.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reelo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access to the Service if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm others or us. You can stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and the "last updated" date will be revised. Your continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts of that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

13. Contact

Questions about these Terms: support@reelo.app.

Template notice: these Terms are a good-faith starting point and should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer, with the operating legal entity and governing-law jurisdiction filled in, before you rely on them. If you add paid features, align the purchases and refunds sections with Apple and Google requirements.
